Adrien Fourmaux took his third BRC win of the season to further extend his championship lead with a classy win in the Ypres Rally.
Day 1
Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria were leading the way after the opening day on the Ypres Rally.
The pair who had already won the first two rounds from this seasons championship lead the rally and the BRC section for M-Sport following the demise of Lefebvre.
Former Citroën World Rally Championship driver Stéphane Lefebvre who decided to compete in the British Rally Championship instead of the Belgian Rally Championship on the Ypres Rally sustained a massive off near the end of the day.
The pair left the road on SS7. Thankfully both driver and co-driver got out of the car ok after the accident.
Elsewhere Junior BRC leaders Kyle McBride and Liam McIntyre fell foul of the challenging Ypres roads when the pair become the latest victims and had pulled to up on the side of SS8.
The JBRC baton passed over to Casey Jay Coleman and Lorcan Moore who now lead overnight.
Day 2
Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria continue to lead the BRC section and the Ardeca Ypres Rally outright by 30.30 seconds.
As the day progressed it was cruise mode for the pair and it was enough for them to claim the outright Ypres win by a British Championship crew.
It also gives them their third win in the BRC section maintaining their 100% record. Vanneste & D’alleine claimed second in the British Championship and 6th overall with Garry Pearson and co-driver Dan Barritt rounding out the BRC podium.
In the junior section, Casey Jay Coleman and Lorcan Moore take their M-Sport Poland Ford Fiesta Rally4 to the Junior BRC rally win.
