Kris Meeke will have a new Co-Driver for the next round of the Portuguese Rally Championship.
30 Year old Fermanagh man Brian Hoy will join Kris for the Rali Vinho da Madeira due to take place from the 3-5th August.
Due to a clash of dates James Fulton Co-Driver will be unavailable to join Kris as he will be contesting Secto Rally Finland alongside Josh McErlean Rallying in the WRC – FIA World Rally Championship
Brian Hoy helped Cathan McCourt to a win in this years Down Stages Rally, And is a more than capable to step in and help Meeke continue his push for the title.
Kris Meeke was the victor alongside with Fulton in Rali de Castelo Branco at the start of this month.
The 43-year-old was a convincing winner of the event, finishing it 36.9 seconds quicker than Bernardo Sousa’s Citroën C3 Rally2. José Pedro Fontes rounded out the top three in his Citroen C3 Rally2.
Meeke also recorded scratch times on nine of the eleven special stages. He will be looking for his third win of the season.
