A combination of the changeable Northern Ireland weather, tight, twisty lanes and flowing, open roads, the Ulster Rally is bound to be an exciting one – having skipped the 2022 season, it last played host to the British Rally Championship finale in 2021 where Matt Edwards came out on top.
Adrien Fourmaux will star at the event, hot from a strong performance at WRC Rally Finland and having won the last two BRC rounds at the Jim Clark and Ardeca Ypres Rally in his Ford Fiesta Rally2.
Former BRC contenders such as Callum Devine, Josh Moffett and Jonny Greer are also in the running, with Garry Pearson also along for the round, having already collected plenty of points this season in his Volkswagen Polo.
BRC4 contenders such as Steve Waugh and Mark Broadbent are also heading to Ulster, with Junior BRC favourites Kyle White and Sean Topping hitting the stages in a Peugeot 208 Rally4.
In a Fiesta Rally4, Kyle McBride and Liam McIntyre aren’t too far behind on points, with Casey Jay Coleman also in the running, having scored his first Junior BRC victory in Ypres earlier this year.
The Ulster Rally will get underway on Friday August 18, with the action coming to a close late Saturday afternoon.
