A Recognition Reception was held for William Creighton & Liam Regan at Stormont in Belfast following Creighton’s title success in this season’s FIA Junior World Rally Championship.
The event was organised by North Down DUP MLA and motorsport aficionado Stephen Dunne.
Creighton’s prize for sealing the title on the fifth and final round of the one-make series on last month’s EKO Acropolis Rally in Greece is four, all expenses paid outings in next season’s WRC2.
William joins an elite list of competitors from Northern Ireland who have achieved success on the world stage in Motorsport.
William’s name has now been added to a prestigious list of names to have won the Junior WRC competition including some of the sport’s most successful drivers ever including Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier.
