The Irish Tarmac Rally Championship will have a new manager in 2024. Sean Hayde from Cork will take over from Paddy Flanagan as the Championship Manager.

Paddy Flanagan has been in charge of the championship since 2015. He has managed some of the most competitive seasons of the Irish Tarmac. The championship has been growing stronger in recent years. This is thanks to the introduction of the international R5/Rally2-based category in 2016.

It also includes thrilling modified cars, popular historic classes, and talented young junior drivers.

The Tarmac Rally Organisers Association wants to express their gratitude to Paddy for his dedication, assistance, and guidance throughout the seven championships. We wish him the best in his future endeavors and hope to see him in the service park for many more years.

Sean Hayde is an experienced co-driver and member of the Munster Car Club. He has competed in national and international events across Ireland with various drivers. TROA believes that Sean will contribute to the championship’s future.
