Nick Elliott & Dave Price take the round 2 BHRC win at Rally North Wales, their first since 2021 as last months winners George Lepley and Dale Bowen suffered mechanical issues and had to retire.

Lepley lead the pack on stage 1 opening up a 12 second lead over Elliott/Price and looked set to take another commanding win in the BHRC.

However disaster struck on the Mitsubishi Galant at stage 3 which resulted them to pull the car over which meant we had a new leader in Elliot & Price. On stage 4 a sensational drive from newcomer David Crossen puts him equal 2nd with Adrian Hetherington.

Hetherington went fastest in Gartheiniog to close the gap on Elliott’s lead on stage 5 and Mennell was making inroads on Robinson’s fourth place. The podiums where all still up for grabs going into the final fews stages of the event.

In the end Elliot shined. Setting fastest stage times in 6, 7 & 8 to win Rally North Wales by over 35 seconds on Daniel Mennell with Rudi Lancaster taking the final podium place. Seb Perez & Gary McElhinney secured the Category 2 victory.
