Jonny Greer picked up his 5th NI Drivers Title while co-driver Niall Burns collected his first ever Co-Drivers Championship in Saturdays Tour Of The Sperrins.

The goal was simple for the pair. A 5th place of higher would guarantee them their crowns and that’s exactly what happened in the event. The event was won by Josh McErlean his maiden Rally 5 event with co-driver James Fulton.

And that’s exactly what happened. A forth place finish was more than enough to collect the trophies with still one more event remaining on the Northern Ireland Rally Calendar – The Tyrone Stages in July.

Consecutive wins at Kirkistown and Bishopscourt followed by a third maximum score at April’s Maiden City Stages have put the Citroen C3 Rally2 driver on course for yet more trophy success having been the man to beat throughout the 2017 campaign and every season since 2021.
