On a hot and dusty day on the lanes around Clonmel, it was Craig Rahill Rallying and Jack Harris who set the time sheets alight and made big moves towards claiming MIJRS.ie – MI Junior Rally Series success in 2024.

In Class 2, the Fiesta Rally4 of Rahill was on form right from the off, as he raced into an early lead that seemed to extend stage by stage throughout the day. It was yet another promising performance for ex-karting star Oran England to claim second.

Out 2023 J1000 Champion Tommy Moffett was in the mix all day but will be disappointed to slip to third, but it was a much better outcome than for Dylan Eves and Jack Brennan, both of who’s day came to a premature end.

In Class 2A, it was a faultless performance from Jack Harris, as he romped home to a class victory and a promising overall result in his Ford Fiesta R2T, with Jack Kennedy coming home 2nd ahead of Ciara Duggan.

The action continues next on August 11th as we head back onto the gravel for the Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally.
