Reports has been growing within the Welsh rally community that Rally North Wales, Seven Valley (BRC) and Nicky Grist are under threat from being cancelled after significant damage from Storm Darragh.

The storm ripped through Wales in December last year, with heavy rainfall and winds up to 93mph (150km/h) leaving about 95,000 homes without power.
As the largest land manager in Wales, Natural Resources Wales (NRW) looks after about 123,000 hectares (304,000 acres) of Welsh government-owned forests and woodlands.
Many kilometres of forest roads, walking trails and mountain bike routes remain obstructed by fallen trees and branches so will take time to clear, NRW said.
Messages have been put through to rally organisers that visitors might not be allowed to enter the area until May causing potential mishap to forest based rally events such as Rally North Wales, Seven Valley (BRC) and Nicky Grist.

Whilst noting has been made official, safety would be the number one priority to the head of each perspective championship and this story will continue to develop over the coming weeks.
