BMW and Toprak Razgatlioglu fought back at Portimao and claimed all three victories throughout the weekend.

Toprak Razgatlioglu has bounced back after a difficult opening round of the season at Phillip Island. The Turkish rider won all three races at Portimao in the second round of the 2025 World Superbike season.
The Aruba.it Racing – Ducati squad finished in second and third for the second time on Sunday. Nicolo Bulega finished as the runner-up to Razgatlioglu, and Alvaro Bautista completed his weekend in third.
Andrea Locatelli rounded out a positive weekend in Portugal with a fourth-place finish. However, Yamaha has a long way to go as the Italian was 6.617 seconds behind Razgatlioglu.
Michael van der Mark backed up his previous sixth and seventh place finishes with a seventh in the final race of the weekend.
Danilo Petrucci missed out on the top five as he slipped back to sixth place in Race Two.
The sole Bimota finisher was Axel Bassani, as he finished in an impressive seventh place after a late scrap with Petrucci. Iker Lecuona was the top Honda rider in the final race of the weekend as he crossed the line in eighth place.
Toprak came out victorious in a race-long battle with Nicolo Bulega in WorldSBK Race 1 at the Portuguese World Superbike round.
Razgatlioglu started from pole, but drifted backwards on the start. He passed his way into the podium positions by the end of lap two, and then set about Bulega.
He took the lead on lap seven, but was never able to break away. He and Bulega proceeded to swap positions multiple times in the closing 10 laps, with Razgatlioglu ultimately coming out on top after defending his position at the first turn on the final lap.
Scott Redding and Alvaro Bautista made contact and crashed out together at turn four on the opening lap. Both were unharmed.
