The now year-old all crosskart buggy series started the season with 50 drivers, fastest of which was William Armstrong, at Latton on the County Monaghan/Cavan border last month.

Entries so far include last year’s champion Kevin Meenagh, Newtoward’s Jason Curran with MV Racing and Brendan Crealey – a Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge winner in the early ’00s.

The track layout has been changed from 2024 to include the infield concrete section and parts of the main track previously unused, all in an effort to keep the challenge fresh.

Action starts at 10am with tickets available in advance online at www.buggyireland.com or on the day at the gate. Admission: £10, accompanied under 16 FREE and X3 admission (arriving in one vehicle) £25. On site parking is free.
