David Bogie got his Scottish Rally Championship campaign off to the best possible start by winning the Speyside Stages for a record-extending 12th time driving a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 alongside co-driver John Rowan.

He led after the Park stages and was extending that advantage going into the forests section.
Six stages into the Speyside Stages and Bogie who maintained over that advantage over the reigning SRC champion Euan Thorburn.
A stellar run from Scott Macbeth sees him third with two stages to go, ahead of Scott Beattie and Jock Armstrong.
He continued to set the pace to which he will go on to win the first round in fantastic showing in his new machinery winning the event by over 47 seconds on second place holders Scott Macbeth who sealed a superb second, a position which reigning champion Euan Thorburn Rallying had held before he lost brakes on the last stage.
