The Motorsport Hub will be the social media coordinator with alignment with the Rathfriland Motor club for next month’s Down Rally.
Rathfriland Motor club’s experience and dedication to grassroots motorsport perfectly align with The Motorsport Hub’s values of authenticity, inclusion, and storytelling that drives connection to motorsport fans locally.
The Motorsport Hub owner Andrew McCracken expressed his delight of the announcement, saying that it’s a massive step forward in regards to the motorsport industry, to seeing this sort of co-partnership exist between a motorsport website and a motor club respectively.
“The Down Rally is one of the important rounds within both the Northern Ireland Rally Championship & Protyre Asphalt Championship. I believe it’s important to bring in a new generation of fans to watch and enjoy the sport on a domestic scale. That is what I’m wanting to achieve in the Down Rally.”
Motor Club Chairman, Malcolm Johnson, shared his own enthusiasm for the partnership:
“We’re always looking for ways to grow the Down Rally and to better connect with fans, participants, and the broader community. Partnering with The Motorsport Hub gives us an incredible opportunity to highlight the people behind the rally — from the drivers and marshals to the volunteers and spectators.
The Down Rally takes place on Saturday July 19th with eight challenging stages await the drivers within the heartland of rural County Down with the service point being held in The Boulevard, Banbridge.
