William Creighton took one step closer to the BRC Title after a commanding win at Scotland’s Grampian Forest Rally alongside with Liam Regan.

Creighton commanded the Grampian Forest Rally after the first two stages on Friday evening. The Castrol Melvyn Evans Motorsport driver was leading the rally over teammate Meirion Evans and Dale Furniss with McRae and Fair taking third going into Saturday.

The day didn’t start well for Romet Jurgenson or Garry Pearson who both suffered punctures on the second stage of the morning.

Creighton’s confidence continued during the morning, with the Irishman stretching his legs and making the most of his road position.

He strived forward his march taking three stage wins in the process however there is only a handful of seconds between second and third.

Creighton and Regan kept their cool to take the win by over thirty seconds over their nearest rivals Max McRae and Cameron Fair there best BRC finish to date with Creighton’s team mate Merion Evans and co-driver Dale Furniss taking third.

Joe Kelly and Killian McArdle triumph on the in the junior class to put them right at the sharp end in the race for the title with Kyle McBride and Darragh Mullen taking second. Sam Mason and James Seymour take their first podium – with a fine third.
