Josh Moffett & Keith Moriarty took the top spot in Sunday’s ALMC Hellfire Rally as they unveiled there new Skoda Fabia Rally 2 machinery in the latest round of the National Rally Championship.

After deciding to ditch the Citroen, Moffett had to bide his time as he had to get familized in the new car. This paved the way for Gary Kiernan to lead the way after the opening loop of stages with Desi Henry and Josh Moffett following suit.
By the halfway point however Josh made his move. A mistake by Kiernan allowed Moffett to become the new ALMC leader and he didn’t look back after that.
Stage win on six allowed him a slight cushion over his rivals to claim victory and valuable data in the Skoda for possibly a late title charge in the remaining rounds of this seasons National Rally Championship.
Brining home second was Eddie Doherty & Tom Murphy keeping there championship in tact with Declan Boyle and Patrick Walsh to complete an all Skoda lockout on the podium. This would be back to back podium finishes for Boyle and Walsh after taking third in the Ulster Rally the day before.

Daniel Mckenna and Andrew Greenan (Ford MK2 Escort) would take the modified win with Brian & Sean Brady with the FWD class win in the Honda Civic.
