In another day of wet and tricky RAC conditions Pryce once again further extended his lead at the top. Despite picking up a puncture halfway through the day, he takes a commanding lead of nearly two minutes on Paul Barret and Gordon Noble who is going steady in there MK2 Escort.

The driver who was in hot form was 2023 RAC winners Marty McCormack and Barney Mitchell who despite still sitting in third place clawed some time back on the Fords. 2 minutes and 20 seconds cover the top 3.

Over guys who might be making a bit of a charge on the final day could be Mark Higgins in the Triumph TR7 and Matt Edwards (MK2 Escort) who sat over 6 minutes behind the leaders to which theyll be looking to finish on a high.

Monday will feature more stages in the central block of Kielder, including the final stage which, as in 2023, will be the longest special stage of the season covering up to 40 miles before the finishers arrive back in Carlisle.
