Organisers of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship announced seven round series which will begin with the Galway International Rally on the 31st of January.

The chairman of the Tarmac Rally Organisers Association, Colman Hegarty revealed that the Circuit of Ireland, the Ulster Rally and the Cork ‘20” Rally (brought forward to September) are all two-day encounters for 2026.
Both the West Cork Rally and the Donegal International Rally are three-day events once again and along with the other five two-day events the series has no other major changes with the exemption of the Ulster Rally which has been added as part of the European Historic Championship which that will run till Sunday respectively.
The points structure remains unchanged while there are no plans to introduce tyre restrictions akin to the British Rally Championship.

R1: Galway International Rally (January 31/1 Feb)
R2: West Cork Rally (March 13/15)
R3: Circuit of Ireland (April 3/4)
R4: International Rally of the Lakes (May 2/3)
R5: Donegal International Rally (June 19/21)
R6: Ulster International Rally (August 7/8)
R7: Cork ‘20’ Rally (September 26/27)
