Kris Meeke and James Fulton win R2 of the Portuguese Rally Championship to keep their 100% winning streak intact at Casino Rally Algarve.
The pair capped off a dominant display at Casino Rally Algarve the second round of the Portuguese Rally Championship by setting the benchmark on the Power Stage to claim all three bonus points.
Meeke recorded quickest times on all 9 of the speed tests to take the overall win by nearly a minute.
A five-time winner in the FIA World Rally Championship, Meeke’s experience and car craft was evident for all to see as he blitzed the opening stage by traversing it nearly 5 seconds faster than anyone else.
Armindo Araújo (Skoda Fabia R5) finished second while Ricardo Teodósio (Hyundai i20) was third. Meeke will be looking to further extend his championship lead at Rali Terras d’Aboboreira next month.
