The heartbroken family of Philip Mitchell have paid an emotional tribute to a young man described as a “bright light in the lives of all who knew him”.
A private service, at the family’s request, was held at First Armagh Presbyterian Church, where the Rev Joanne Smith officiated. After Friday’s funeral in first Armagh, a committal service took place at Ballynahone Cemetery.
A recognised face in the rally scene, Mitchell was an experienced competitor especially in the junior categories, he was the 2019 Junior Border Rally Champions.

He competed in various events including his most recent one at the Ulster Rally last year. Our thoughts are with the family circle at this time.
