It proved to be a david and goliath tussle at the opening stages George Lepley and David Crossen were tied in the lead after 2 stages. Mennell and Henderson where separated by just one second as crews head to Aberheirnant.

Reigning BHRC Champion Seb Perez had to retire the car with a gearbox issue in SS2.

On stage 4 Lepley landed a stellar time through Dyfnant to take the lead from Crossen by a whopping 19s. Behind the pair the battle was super intense with just a few seconds separating the top 5.

After SS6 the pendulum swung back into Crossen’s favour. Lepley had to retire leaving the top three separating by under 10 seconds.

Stage 8 was cancelled due to time constrains so it left just Stage 7 and glory for Crossen and Teggart.

Crossen did enough in the end to take the category win and claim his second BHRC win of the season in his MK2 Escort. Henderson & Lees to take second with Mennell & Roberts taking third.

Adam Milner & Roy Jarvis claimed the Category 2 win and Baz Jordan & Arwel Jenkins took the Category 4 top score.
