Adrien Fourmaux signed off his career at M-Sport in style as the winner of the Monza Master Show last weekend.
Present in Monza for the final challenge of the season were the champion elect Thierry Neuville, the eight time world champion Sebastian Ogier, this year’s WRC2 champion Sam Pajari, along with Dani Sordo and Fourmaux.
On Sunday morning, they put on a show with their rally cars in the Master Show, while earlier this weekend they took part, but not in competition, in the Rally Show. Fourmaux beat Neuville in the final showdown.
Andrea Crugnola won the overall Monza Rally Show with Nikolay Gryazin in a Skoda Fabia finishing second, with third going to 2024 European Champion Hayden Paddon in a Hyundai i20.
Fourmaux will get his first competitive taste of the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 this week when he takes on France’s Rallye National Hivernal du Dévoluy.
Rallye National Hivernal du Dévoluy has become a traditional warm-up for the Monte Carlo Rally as it uses roads that form some of the stages for the WRC season opener.
As a result Fourmaux is not the only Rally1 driver to have entered, with Toyota bringing two-time world champion Kalle Rovanperä along as he gears up for a full season again in 2025.
Grégoire Munster’s co-driver, Louis Louka, will also compete alongside Munster’s brother, Charles, in a Hyundai i20 N Rally2.
