Following a comprehensive tendering process, Motorsport Ireland announced that Euro M-Sport have been appointed as the control fuel supplier for all Motorsport Ireland Stage Rallies. Their appointment will start with immediate effect and is for an initial period of three years.
Euro M-Sport will supply Panta Racing Fuel (Panta Max 102 and Panta Rally 98) which must be used by all competitors on all Motorsport Ireland permitted Stage Rallies. There is an allowance for additives for historic cars if required but that must be ordered from Euro M-Sport and will be mixed in advance.
Fuel prices are: Panta Max 102 €6.15 per litre inclusive & Panta Rally 98 €3.99 per litre inclusive.
These are control fuels and as such are the only fuels allowed when competing in Motorsport Ireland permitted Stage Rallies.
Motorsport Ireland believes that Euro M-Sport’s appointment has a number of positives. Competitors will now only pay for the fuel they use, it will level the playing field and will eliminate refuelling from service areas, a process which has already been trialled successfully over the last two years with the introduction of designated refuelling zones.
It will also ensure Motorsport Ireland are at the forefront of environmental and sustainability practices in motorsport.
