Home » Jordan & Jenkins Seal BHRC Title As Barrett Claim Woodpecker Glory

Baz Jordan & Arwel Jenkins, sealed an inaugural BHRC title for a Cat4 car in the process while Paul Barrett & Arthur Kierans took a hard fought Category 3 & overall FUCHS UK British Historic Championship win in the Woodpecker Rally.

Paul Barrett & Dan Mennell tie on times through SS1 with Matt Stroud obliterates his seeding tied with Robert Gough for third Cat3 leaders David Crossen/Ben Teggart had to park up in SS1.

After a storming run through SS4 Paul Barrett finally broke clear of Dan Mennell after being joint leaders all morning. Robert Gough was being chased by Ian Evans for third but the top four are separated by just 26s. Meanwhile Baz Jordan was just four stages away from claiming the 2025 BHRC title.

Just two stages stood in the way of Paul Barrett taking his first BHRC victory since 2018. He extended his lead over Dan Mennell whilst Rob Gough retained third.

Paul Barrett continued to extend his lead as he approach the final stage, taking the win by over 40 seconds on Dan Mennell/John Roberts securing second whilst Robert Gough/Jack Bowen rounded out the top three.

For Baz Jordan & Arwel Jenkins hampered by reliability issues last year, they guided the Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 home to claim a maiden BHRC title with a double header still to come at Yorkshire next month.
