The Severn Valley Stages makes a triumphant return to open the 2026 season after being forced to cancel last year due to storm damage.

Serving as the championship’s curtain-raiser in April, the Builth Wells-based gravel spectacular utilizes legendary roads from the Wales Rally GB archives. Competitors can expect significant mileage packed into a single-day format, offering the perfect, high-intensity start to the new campaign in some of the most revered forest stages in the world.
Max McRae will contest a full British Rally Championship season in 2026 with a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
The 21-year-old Scot won his first BRC event at the end of last year on his gravel debut with a Škoda, inspiring him to continue his relationship with the Dom Buckley RSC outfit. And following his recent win at Rally North Wales, he’s in a boyish mood to be on the top step once again.
Meirion Evans will embark on his third season in the BRC1 top-flight in 2026, rejoining the Castrol MEM Rally Team for an assault on the title in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.

Having started rallying in 2009, the 30-year old from Lampeter was in with a shot of the BRC crown in 2025, heading into the final round in a three-way battle for the coveted championship honour, eventually taking third place with team mate William Creighton taking top spot.
2022 British Rally Champion Osian Pryce will return to the British Rally Championship this season, in a shock move that sees the 33-year old Machynlleth-born driver join the Castrol MEM Rally Team in a two Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 car squad.
Joining Pryce will be co-driver James Morgan in an all-Welsh cast as the Carmarthenshire-based team for another all-out attack at the title.
Garry Pearson returns to fight for the British Rally Championship (BRC) title in 2026 with the full support of World Rally Championship outfit, M-Sport Ford.
Pearson has enjoyed an exceptional rallying career to-date with four national rally championships to his name, as well as winning eight competitive rallies overall.

This led to M-Sport signing him to drive a Ford Fiesta Rally2 throughout the 2024 and 2025 seasons in Britain’s premier rally series.
