Michael Dunlop is a late entry for the Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 this weekend following confirmation the record 36-time Isle of Man TT winner will compete in three classes.
Dunlop won both Superbike races at the Co Armagh meeting last year and obliterated the outright lap record on his MD Racing BMW as he returned to the event for the first time since 2013.
The Ballymoney man had to settle for third and second places in the Supersport races respectively on his Ducati Panigale V2 after starting from the second group following trouble in qualifying.
However, he shattered his 2011 lap record for the class on his way to second place in the second Supersport race, raising the benchmark to 109.276mph.
Dunlop entered on his MD Racing BMW and Ducati Supersport machines, and is also set to ride a Moto3 Honda machine for Dungannon team Burrows Engineering/RK Racing. The 37-year-old rode the bike to victory at the Cookstown 100 in April.
This will be Dunlop’s first road racing apperance since this years Isle of Man TT where he clinched the Supersport double and one win in the Supertwin class.
