Jon Armstrong won the Grampian Forest Rally by 9.3 seconds over his team-mate Romet Jürgenson. Lancia’s Nikolay Gryazin was third with his team-mate Yohan Rossel fifth, split by Osian Pryce (GR Yaris Rally2) who won the British Rally Championship event.

Championship leader Elfyn Evans and his Rally1 colleague Jon Armstrong were among the international stars driving in Aberdeenshire last weekend at the Grampian Forest Rally – the FIA’s candidate event for next year’s Rally Scotland.

Elsewhere Osian Pryce and James Morgan strengthened their position at the top of the 2026 Motorsport UK British Rally Championship standings with a composed and hard-fought victory.

Pryce’s victory came after a weekend of high drama in the BRC field, with the Welshman eventually finishing more than 26 seconds clear of Max McRae and Cameron Fair, whilst Meirion Evans and Dale Furniss completed the BRC podium after an enthralling battle that saw second and third separated by just 1.3 seconds at the finish.

Aoife Raftery continued her remarkable 2026 BRC campaign with another dominant BRC3 victory, with Ayrton Sherlock alongside.

The Junior British Rally Championship produced another dramatic weekend, with Luke Constantine taking a sensational maiden victory in his Opel Corsa Rally4.

Additionally Duns driver Garry Pearson has won the Scottish Rally Championship for the second time after notching up a fifth victory on the bounce at Friday and Saturday’s Grampian Forest Rally.

Though he missed February’s opening round, the Snowman Rally near Inverness, he’s won all five since – four in his M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally2 and one, June’s Argyll Rally, in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 – to secure this year’s title with a round to spare, that being September’s concluding Galloway Hills Rally.
