Josh McErlean showed his class on tricky stages to seal his maiden overall rally victory, winning five of the six stages.

Alongside with James Fulton, set the early pace in the Sperrins. He piped cousin Desi Henry on stage one after Henry felt he was a bit hesitant on the stage’s fastest sections.
There has been some mechanical drama for crews on Drumshee Hill. Championship contender Aaron McLaughlin was left stranded for a few minutes when his Polo’s kill switch went off while Barry Morris’s Darrian cut out for 500 yards mid-stage.
A mega effort on stage three propelled Jason Mitchell to within a second of Jonny Greer. Greer was set to seal the championship today as long he finished inside the top 5 so he was driving accordingly.
McErlean blitzed Corratary Hill to ensure he heads into the Tour of the Sperrins finale with a 20-second advantage over Desi Henry. Jason Mitchell edged ahead of Jonny Greer, holding third by 3.1 seconds.
McErlean & Fulton went on to win the event by over 20 seconds over Henri. Mitchell took the final podium spot with Greer 4th & Dickson completing the top 5 positions.
Jason Black claimed top honours in the 2WD class while Seamus Goodfellow took the FWD category.
