Home » Ingram On The Double In BTCC Finale At Brands Hatch

Tom Ingram took victory in Round 28 of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, coming out on top of a race-long battle with polesitter Aiden Moffat (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing).

The pair swapped positions on a number of occasion with Ingram’s final move around the outside on the run down to Paddock Hill Bend being the ultimate highlight and moment of triumph.

Ingram took his second victory of the day in Round 29 of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch as Mikey Doble sealed the Independents Trophy.

Team VERTU star Ingram led from start to finish to claim his third successive triumph – which commenced with his finale win at Silverstone two weeks ago – as the outgoing champion showed not only his undoubted class but also his likely determination to wrestle back the crown next season.

Speedworks Corolla Racing’s Josh Cook was second as the Toyota Corolla man made it the same one-two finish as today’s earlier contest.

Soon to be crowned five-time BTCC champion Ash Sutton incredibly claimed his 20th podium but bizarrely the first time that he has finished in third place so far this season.

Dan Cammish (NAPA Racing UK) inherited victory in Round 30 of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship after on-the-road winner Ricky Collard (Team VERTU) received a five-second post-race penalty for a procedural infringement at the safety car restart.

Starting third, Collard seized the lead on the opening lap before an early safety car period. A first-corner incident brought Tom Chilton’s final BTCC race to a premature end, with Team VERTU teammate and winner of the day’s opening two races, Tom Ingram, also retiring.

Cammish took the chequered flag in second before learning that he had secured his third victory of the campaign. The NAPA Racing UK driver had spent much of the race battling Dexter Patterson (Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing) and teammate Ash Sutton.

Sutton climbed to second but, while pursuing Collard for the lead, ran off the circuit at Westfields and slipped to ninth by half distance. He then charged back through the field to secure his 21st podium in 30 races.

Polesitter Patterson completed the podium, capping a breakthrough season in which the Scotsman secured his maiden championship title by winning the 2026 Jack Sears Trophy.
